PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Eventscape was honoured to work with Gensler, Holt Construction and Delta Airlines on the Delta One Lounge located in Terminal 4 in New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The Delta One Lounge is a premium airport lounge that merges luxury and functionality and creates a new standard of elevated hospitality and service ranging from fine dining to valet services of elevated hospitality and service ranging from fine dining to valet services to spa-like wellness treatments.
Eventscape worked with the teams to engineer, fabricate and install some unique design features throughout the 39,000 sqaure foot space.
The design features included a beautiful curved white oak storefront entryway and custom partitions and screens with varying combinations of wood, stone and metal finishes with specialized pattern details.
According to Sam Roberts, Delta’s General Manager of Sky Club Design and Facilities, “…the lounge is not just a haven for relaxation but a curated experience where guests can dine, unwind and recharge in a setting that pays homage to New York City’s architectural history.” (coolhunting.com 2024)
