PROJECT DESCRIPTION
JPMorganChase’s new global headquarters at 270 Park Avenue sets a new global standard for healthy, high-performance workplaces and Eventscape is proud to have been entrusted with some of the most public-facing elements within its soaring lobby space.
Collaborating closely with Foster + Partners and AECOM Tishman, Eventscape detailed, fabricated, and installed several custom architectural features – including a family of monumental reception desks, security stations, and coffee bars clad in sculptural curved travertine, along with a suite of bespoke walnut, leather, and metal furniture pieces – rigorously crafted to meet the meticulous standards and uncompromising attention to detail set by the very building these elements occupy.
Combining artisanal handcraft and modern manufacturing processes, Eventscape deftly wove a timeless material palette around the precisely-coordinated high-tech interfaces required for the FDNY fire command center, lobby security, and automated building systems. The result is a collection of signature elements that feel distinctly modern while being deeply rooted in tradition and quality.
