As part of the GTAA’s renovations, Eventscape was contracted for the custom gateway furniture project of over 2000 custom seats and 450 tables installed at 11 restaurants and 34 gate areas at the Toronto Pearson International Airport. Designed by ICRAVE and developed by restaurateur OTG Management Inc, Eventscape engineered, fabricated and installed these high quality, complex units which feature integrated technologies.
Eventscape was involved at the early stages and provided VE solutions to the original specifications to bring into budget while maintaining the overall design intent. Rapid prototyping before production to test structure and review important details. Over 2000 seats, 450 tables in 5 different types. Required the marriage of 7 different material types, 30 different processes to create 48,000 individual parts all engineered, built and assembled under one roof. Turnkey solution including engineering, fabrication, site coordination, storage, shipping and installation. Engineered and built to withstand over 35 million passengers per year for many years. Detailed for easy retro fit or rebranding.
