Complex Faceted Ceiling

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Eventscape collaborated with Core Architects and Metrus on several large scale interior and exterior features at Crosstown Place, a new office tower and expansive multi-use complex at Don Mills and Eglinton in Toronto.

Among the Features was a 3,000 sq.ft. complex faceted ceiling comprised of 80 custom- unique framed panels of white oak veneer over fire-rated MDF, accentuated by exploded reveals with integrated linear lighting and services.

This sculptural plane is suspended via a tailored metal substructure and bracket system, concealing a service-accessible utility trough within its sleek profile.

Seamlessly integrating form and function, the ceiling anchors the office tower’s entry with a sense of depth, movement, and craftsmanship, setting a refined tone for the multi-use complex.
