We have an opportunity for a Project Developer to join our sales & estimating team.

This position will work closely with clients and our front-end sales executives to weigh in on our client’s preliminary conceptual designs from a material, finish, and construction stand point. This position will be required to develop fabrication solutions, create 3D renderings to help illustrate said approaches, and help estimate for the purposes of presenting costing in tandem with fabrication solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess client needs and advise on the manufacturability of their design intent
  • Prepare design concepts, 2D & 3D illustrations, presentation material, and submission documentation
  • Determine the process needed to fabricate the final product and create detailed cost estimates based on information gathered through client meetings and architectural drawings
  • Gather quotes and negotiate prices with vendors/suppliers and work closely with accounting, production, and in-house designers to develop accurate cost information
  • Keep informed with progressive building methods, digital fabrication, and the latest materials available on the market

 

EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:

The ideal candidate is passionate about design/build and knowledgeable in the areas of manufacturing, architecture, industrial design, and/or engineering. Having an insatiable drive to understand how things are put together and taken apart is not only encouraged, but necessary to succeed in this intermediate role. In addition, we are looking for someone that:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized university
  • Experience estimating complex architectural projects
  • The ability to use Revit or Rhino (with grasshopper knowledge) to create digital renderings
  • Working knowledge of Solidworks an asset

  • In-depth knowledge of modern building methods and materials

We are hiring for Project Designers to join the Design Engineering team. This position will provide relevant departments with comprehensive packages that include drawings, specifications, and information necessary for in-house manufacturing and outsourcing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design submittal drawings – satisfying the needs of the client, budget, timeline and quality standards.
  • Detail shop drawings
  • Prototyping and material testing

We are looking for installation leads to join our installation team.  The installer, in addition to site supervision, will perform the installations of customized architectural features, store fixtures/fit outs, custom cabinets and woodwork using a variety of equipment and power tools.  Please note travel is essential to the position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Travel locally, nationally, and internationally to assemble and install fabricated fixture components
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Designers, and Client Representatives on project progress
  • Supervise & Coordinate onsite installation workers
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints
  • Measure, fit, and fasten fixtures
  • Heavy use of hand tools and power tools
  • Pack/unpack components into crates ensuring safe delivery and handling of all material
  • Ensure adherence to Eventscape’s best installation practices and quality standards

EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:

  • Minimum 3 years of first-hand experience in custom fabrication having worked on projects including custom cabinetry, retail fit outs, and/or architectural interiors.
  • Must be able  to travel across Canada and internationally
  • Must be able to interpret architectural drawings/blueprints
  • Familiarity with different materials (metal, wood, plastic, fabric, etc.
  • Experience managing a crew and coordinating with different trades
  • Immaculate attention to detail and a concern for meeting project deadlines

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
