The air comes alive in this exuberant project. We filled a brilliantly lit 80-foot high atrium with swooping, diving, curving forms of framed fabric that our client called “sails” or “kites.” Their shape and position give the space a rhythm that not only reflects the nearby ocean element, but also surprises and thrills the customers. Winner of 2007 NASFM Special Installation Award for “architectural or decorative elements that exceed the current standards of creativity and innovation.”
